PRE-LICENSING

How do I obtain my California Real Estate License?To earn your license, the DRE requires you to successfully complete three foundational, college-level courses (Real Estate Principles, Real Estate Practice, and one Elective) and then pass the Salesperson State Exam.

How fast can I complete the courses?The California Department of Real Estate (DRE) mandates a strictly enforced minimum study time of 18 calendar days per course. Therefore, the absolute fastest you can complete all three required pre-licensing courses is 54 days from your date of enrollment.

How long do I have to finish the courses?You have exactly one year from your date of enrollment to complete all coursework. Completion means taking and passing your final course examinations.

How do I schedule my included Crash Course?Simply send an email to donna.nazir@gmail.com to reserve your seat.

When should I schedule my Crash Course?You should schedule your Crash Course only after you have locked in your official State Exam date. For maximum retention, we highly recommend attending the Crash Course the weekend immediately preceding your exam.

Do you submit my course certificates to the DRE for me?No. Once you pass your course finals, we provide you with your official certificates of completion. You are responsible for submitting these directly to the DRE, either through their online eLicensing portal or via mail.

How does the Crash Course Pass Guarantee work?If you take the Salesperson Crash Course and do not pass the State Exam on your first try, you must schedule and attend the crash course a second time before re-testing. If you do not pass the Salesperson State Exam after two attempts—provided you fully attended the Crash Course within one month prior to each attempt—send copies of both DRE result notices and return your Salesperson Crash Course Textbooks to Modern Method. As long as you did not void the attendance guarantee and are still within your one-year enrollment window, your enrollment fee will be refunded. (Note: No refunds are issued if your crash course enrollment has expired).
