ENROLLMENT & REFUND POLICY
By enrolling in our courses or purchasing our materials, you agree to the following terms. We pride ourselves on transparency and ask that you review these guidelines carefully.
Note: All orders are processed during standard business hours. Please allow 24-48 hours for processing if purchased after hours.
Enrollment Terms
- Validity: Your enrollment is valid for exactly one year from your original date of purchase.
- Timeline: You have one year to complete all courses, pass final exams, and access all digital materials.
- Extensions: There are no extensions past the one-year enrollment window for any course or product.
- Transfers: All courses, products, and packages are strictly non-transferable.
- Prices, locations, and schedules are subject to change without notice.
Standard Refund Policy
- The 10-Day Window: A refund may be requested within 10 business days of your original purchase date. Refunds will not be issued after 10 business days, or if a course has already been completed.
- Fees & Deductions: A $35 restocking/administrative fee per course will be retained by Modern Method. All physical materials must be returned in unused condition. If materials are used or unreturned, further deductions will apply.
- Non-Refundable Items: All shipping charges, digital downloads, and materials-only purchases are non-refundable (defective digital files may be exchanged).
- Processing: Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 45 business days. Cash purchases will be refunded via a company check.
Live Classes & Workshops
- Live Classes: If a scheduled live class has already started, you may withdraw and receive a prorated refund for the uncompleted portion. A $100 registration fee per live class will be retained by Modern Method.
- Workshops & Seminars: Refunds for standalone workshops or seminars must be requested before the start date. No refunds will be issued on or after the day the workshop begins.
Salesperson Crash Course: Guarantee & Retake PolicyWe guarantee you will pass the Salesperson State Exam, provided you attend our Crash Course on all scheduled days during the month immediately prior to your state exam test date.
- Maintaining the Guarantee: You must arrive on time, stay the entire duration, and sign in and out on both days. You must also take the state exam during the month following the Crash Course. Failure to meet these exact requirements will void the guarantee.
- Retakes: If you meet the requirements but do not pass the State Exam, simply send a copy of your result notice to Modern Method. You may re-attend the Salesperson Crash Course free of charge (expired crash courses do not apply).
- Note: Refunds are not issued after 10 business days or if the crash course has already been attended.
Technical RequirementsWebinar attendees are required to have a fast, capable computer and a strong, reliable internet connection. Refunds are not issued for technical difficulties resulting from an attendee's personal hardware or connectivity issues.
State & DRE DisclosuresA Course & Instructor Evaluation form is available for download on the DRE's website. Modern Method Real Estate School is registered with the State of California. Registration means we have certified to the state that we have met the requirements imposed by the state for registered institutions. Registration does not mean that we have been evaluated or approved by the state, or that we have met the standards required by this state of institutions that are approved to operate, or that the state has verified the information submitted with our registration form. Any questions or problems concerning this school which have not been satisfactorily answered by the school should be directed to the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education, P.O.
